ToolDrives at the K trade fair in Düsseldorf

More than 175,000 trade visitors from 160 countries attended the leading international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. INGENEA GmbH presented a new robot-guided machining solution for plastic pipes.The ToolDrives compact module was used in combination with a Yaskawa GP7 industrial robot to automate milling processes. The demonstration showed how previously manually performed machining steps can be replaced by robot-assisted automation – an approach that contributes to increased efficiency and counteracts the shortage of skilled workers.
