As a new UR+ partner, ToolDrives offers the powerful Compact module for robot-guided machining processes. The UR+ ecosystem is the leading platform for end-of-arm tooling solutions in cobot applications and enables companies to optimize their manufacturing processes.
The Compact Line Module enables drilling, brushing, milling, grinding, polishing and deburring. With the ER20 tool holder, round tools or tools with a shank diameter of 2 to 13 mm can be used. An M14 output for grinding wheels and an automatic quick tool change system based on ER11/16 collets for holding brushing, drilling or milling tools are optionally available.
The system is ideal for dry processing of wood, plastic and CFRP materials as well as for grinding and brushing weld seams. The drive speed is infinitely variable. The core components of the drive system consist of the powerful Compact Line Module and the decentralized control box with interface to the robot controller.
